Hut
Installation, research, Residence

A space built and sewn together very slowly from the ground up, using discarded materials from Emmaus found on-site

Caring for the floor was the last step in building the hut, which ended up being the perfect way to go inwards. So during the exhibition we kept cleaning the symmetrical triangle shaped surface around us.
While others walked in and out the space, attention in the room drifted away and returned to us. We didn’t ignore the people; instead, we responded based on our current state.
In the final hour of the exhibition, we dismantled the hut with as much attention and love as we put into building it.
𝘩𝘶𝘵 represents freely delving into the space we can create through the presence we give it and exploring what happens when we open it up to others.
